Please read the Terms of Use below before using the System.
   You are required to agree to the Terms of Use below in order to make an application to the Director General of Regional Immigration Services Bureau using the Immigration Services Agency's Trusted Traveler Program Information System, the Ministry of Justice.The original text of the Terms of Use is in Japanese. If any conflict arises between the translation of the Terms of Use below and the Japanese original, the Japanese original shall prevail.

1. Service hours
      As a rule, the Immigration Services Agency's Trusted Traveler Program Information System, the Ministry of Justice (hereinafter referred to as "the System") is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; provided, however, that the operation of the System may be suspended for system maintenance purposes or other purposes without prior notice to the users.
   
   
2. Copyright
      The copyright to the System, owned by the Ministry of Justice and protected under international treaties and the Copyright Act of Japan, shall not be transferred to a third party.
   
   
3. Prohibition
      The following acts are prohibited in using the System:
   (1) Use of the System for any purpose other than the purpose of making application to the Director General of Regional Immigration Services Bureau;
   (2) Unauthorized access to the System;
   (3) Modification or distribution of any program provided to the users by the System of the Immigration Services Agency, the Ministry of Justice without permission from the Immigration Services Agency, the Ministry of Justice;
   (4) Deliberate interference with the management and operation of the System;
   (5) Deliberate sending of files infected with viruses to the System; and
   (6) Impersonating another user to use the System and make application to the Director General of Regional Immigration Services Bureau.
   
   
4. Disclaimer
      Your User ID and password to the System, which identify you as you use the System, must be kept secure at all times. Each user is responsible for keeping their User ID and password secure and liable for any consequential damages arising from the management of them. The Immigration Services Agency, the Ministry of Justice shall not assume any responsibility for such damages.
   
   
5. Type of information to be collected and the purposes for which the information will be used
   (1) The System collects information pertaining to application under the provisions of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and related Ministerial Ordinances. The collected information shall be used in accordance with the provisions of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and related Ministerial Ordinances. The collected information shall also be properly managed by giving consideration to the protection of individual users' rights and interests in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information Held by Administrative Organs.
   (2) The System, which has the ability to acquire a user audit trail, may acquire, save, monitor and analyze audit trail data.
   
   
6. Changes to the Terms of Use
      The Immigration Services Agency, the Ministry of Justice may make changes to the Terms of Use when it finds necessary without prior notice to the users. Any users who use the System following any revision to the Terms of Use are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms of Use.
